Is MSM beneficial for recovery?
An equine study published in January 2025 in the journal Animalstested 21 g/day of MSM for 30 days on 10 adult thoroughbreds. The results show that MSM modulates post-exercise muscle inflammatory responses at the gene level, with 630 differentially expressed genes related to immunity and cytokine response.
